From the window of my Villa, I watch the sun slowly move shadows down Mount Kuchumaa. I hear giggling and talking coming from the oak grove. Morning hikers are making their way out to the hills and canyons to greet the sun. Our trails are lined with colored speckles across the preserved land as the wildflowers and grasses bloom.
