Gorky Gonzales’ world-renowned ceramics are handmade in Guanajuato, Mexico. This pottery is crafted using traditional majolica designs and forms of the Spanish Colonial period in Mexico (1521 – 1810). Gorky’s pieces marry fun characters with sophisticated techniques, and are inspired by Italian, Spanish, Japanese and indigenous-Mexican cultures.
