Aqua Interval Training
Interval training has been proven to burn calories long after your workout. So why not take it to the pool?! Higher intensity moves will be executed (options and modifications always offered) to give you that burst of energy, then rest, then repeat. The great thing about higher intensity moves in the pool is that they are less impactful than on land!
Janice Jaicks has been teaching aqua fitness since 1985, as well as training instructors in aqua exercise, for over 25 years. She is the founder and CEO of FitnessFest Conference & Expo, AquaCon, and Desert Swim School, in operation since 1990. Janice has trained hundreds of instructors using her Aqua Progressions Certification Course over the past two decades.
She is certified through AEA, ACE, and the Arthritis Foundation, and has enjoyed presenting aqua workshops for IDEA, SCW, AquaCon, and her own FitnessFest conferences. She is also the co-creator of Aqua Balance, a SilverSneakers-branded program that was developed over twenty years ago and is still used nationally by the organization. Her success as a business person has also inspired her to now offer business coaching & consultations to inspire others to reach their own small business goals.
