Jodie Goodman Block, MS, RDN, CDN, is a leading dietitian and nutrition expert specializing in sustainable weight management and blood sugar control. She is the weekly evidence-based Dietitian at the world-renowned Golden Door Spa and founder of The Health Institute of Nutrition, a concierge practice dedicated to optimizing health and promoting longevity.  Jodie earned top honors in her master’s program in nutrition, receiving recognition for Scholastic Excellence. She has served as an adjunct professor, teaching Clinical Nutrition to aspiring dietitians, and blends academic expertise with real-world strategies to help clients transform their health and feel their best—for life. Her career includes time at New York Presbyterian Hospital, where she revamped and led weight loss programs and supported women’s health initiatives. She also developed and directed corporate weight loss programs for Wall Street firms, NYC health clubs, and a NYC sports medicine center.  Currently, Jodie serves as a diabetes and weight management dietitian at the Scripps Del Mar Weight Management Clinic. She previously worked at the Scripps Whittier Diabetes Institute in La Jolla, California.  An active member of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, Jodie’s expertise has been featured on CBS News, Fox 5 Good Day New York, and national radio broadcasts.
