Meditation

Week of September 25, 2021

Whether you are new to meditation or have been meditating for years, this week is perfect for you. In each class, we will journey through a different style of meditation. The position is open, you can lay down, sit, it is what is most comfortable for you. This is truly your meditation, I am just the guide.  Classes are filled with stories, meditation styles, breathing, and healing techniques. In other words, you will laugh, relax, be focused, and most of all feel connected.  By the end of the week, you will have enough tools to develop your meditation and mindfulness practice. Join me in class with an open mind, open heart, and just be.

Zen Bon Jacques-Pierre (JPC) comes from a practice and lineage of the Ngagpa tradition of Zen and Bon spiritual legacies. They are known to be wild, unpredictable, full of laughter, compassion and love. In his early years, he was diagnosed with bi-polar depression. He would struggle for many years trying to find his place in this world. Fortunately, his curiosity of why we exist .. this guided him down a life-long journey of wonder and self-discovery. He has served in the Navy, National Guard, protected people as a police officer, built nonprofits to service those who struggle, and now he teaches and mentors others to find their authentic purpose and embrace their reason for being. He has traveled all over the world uncovering the beauty of authentic human kindness. All his years have brought about the wisdom that we are always a student.

Zen Bon JPC is the CEO and Founder of the Meditation and Mindfulness Institute for Humans (MMIH). He created this Institute for people to self-discover, connect and know the feeling of genuine human kindness. When he is not teaching or writing, you can find him enjoying one of his favorite meditations drawing mandalas in the sand. If you are in San Diego, keep your eyes open as you may see this Monk passing you on his longboard with his robes flapping in the wind! His motto ” Celebrate Today’s Day! It is the Best day! It is the Only day”
