Self-Defense – Tweens, Teens, and Women

Week of July 31, 2021

In a safe, fun environment, without instilling fear and with age-appropriate information, André Salvage’s team will share vital tools necessary to prevent potential assaults. This is done with the knowledge of three essential skills: the awareness to avoid dangerous situations, the assertiveness skills to handle predatory behavior, and the hands-on training to stop someone from harming you.

David Williams (aka Super Dave), has been studying martial arts for 29 years, starting with Tae Kwon Do. Then 28 years ago he met Grand Master André Salvage, who opened his eyes to the master’s path of Kung Fu San Soo. He received his Master Degree (8th-degree black belt) 11 years ago and continues to work on his art as he teaches Kung Fu San Soo and Assault Prevention. Teaching self-defense to all ages is a passion of his, and he strives to empower all with his knowledge. As a business owner of Super Dave Dog, Inc. since 2000, he walks and trains dogs through exercise, discipline, and affection. Incorporating fitness and meditation into his daily routine keeps him grounded and enables him to be a loving husband and father of two sons.

Oliveyah Fisch (aka Liv), a Black Belt in Kung Fu San Soo with certifications in fighting tandem, staff, sword, nunchuk, cane, and escrima sticks, is a leading expert in the health and fitness industry and founder of one of the most successful health and coaching businesses in the San Francisco Bay Area.  Oliveyah has her Master’s in Exercise Science. She is an accredited performance enhancement specialist and certified personal trainer through NASM, a certified yoga instructor through the Yoga Alliance Association, and a certified holistic health and life coach through the CHEK Institute and the Health Coach Institute. She is an experienced Women’s Assault Prevention instructor and has helped hundreds of people transform their lives. Oliveyah is passionate about helping others achieve lasting change through healthy habits and fostering joy.
