Bethany Yarrow carries a legacy of folk music passed down through her family. For over two decades, she has been on a journey exploring the roots of American spiritual music, performing with musicians from all over the world, including Haiti, Niger, and Brazil. Over the last five years, Bethany has translated more than 150 traditional songs for the Orixás, the great pantheon of Afro-Brazilian deities expressed in the forces of nature who are at the center of her own devotional practice.
