What You Should Know About Updates in Reproductive Health with Dr. Diane Snyder
As a practicing gynecologist for more than 35 years, I have cared for women through every stage of life. These talks are designed to share important updates in reproductive and women’s health, empower women to better understand their bodies over time, and provide practical information to support healthy, informed decisions.
Perimenopause and Menopause
What is it? Should it be treated? How do I — and my partner — get through it? Will my hair fall out? How much weight will I gain? Will I still be able to have sex? Do I need to worry about pregnancy? Do I need hormones?
There are so many questions about this normal biological transition. This talk will help you understand what to expect during perimenopause and menopause, explore treatment options, and learn practical strategies to manage symptoms and navigate this stage with confidence.
Be Cool With Your Kids and Grandkids: What’s New in Contraception, Menstrual Hygiene, Menstrual Apps, and More
It’s a whole new world when it comes to pregnancy prevention, menstrual hygiene products, and cycle tracking. Things have changed a lot since we were young. From long-acting contraception and period underwear to menstrual cups and tracking apps, today’s options can feel overwhelming — or fascinating.
This talk will explore the latest in contraception, menstrual products, and menstrual tracking technology so you can stay informed, understand what your kids and grandkids may be using, and learn how to support healthy, informed choices.
How Do I Keep Myself Healthy? What You Need to Know About Recommended Screenings
Confused about how often you need a Pap test? Wondering about mammograms and breast density? Can you skip a colonoscopy and use stool testing instead? When should you get a bone density scan — and how often do you really need one?
Screening recommendations can be confusing and seem to change all the time. This talk will review current guidelines for preventive health screenings, explain what tests are recommended at different ages, and help you stay informed about the screenings you need to protect your health.
Sex and Sexuality: Tips, Toys, and Testosterone
Men and women are living longer and want to continue enjoying healthy, satisfying intimate relationships throughout their lives. This talk will explore common changes in sexual health with aging, ways to maintain intimacy and connection, and options that may help improve sexual wellness. Topics will include communication, libido, vaginal and erectile health, testosterone and other treatments, and sexual wellness products and devices designed to support a healthy sex life.
