In addition to teaching Yoga classes in the Los Angeles area, Don is a certified Yoga therapist. He completed his training at Loyola Marymount University where he now is an adjunct professor in the Yoga Therapy program, as well as a mentor to Level III and IV Yoga therapy students. He is certified through the International Association of Yoga Therapists and is also a certified Chair Yoga teacher.
Don has been teaching Yoga-related topics at the Esalen Institute for the past several years and was also awarded Prime of Life Yoga® Teacher of the Month by Samata International. He has been working closely with Yoga pioneer, Larry Payne, for many years, and served as Larry’s book editor and photographer for his new book, “Yoga After 50 for Dummies.”
Along with his Yoga credentials, Don holds an MA from the University of Rochester, is a member of the Writer’s Guild of America, and is a filmmaker (who even did a feature film set in Tecate, Mexico!).
