Every drop of water counts—we utilize drip irrigation and a thick layer of mulch to maximize efficiency.

For nearly 50 years, Fundación La Puerta has been deeply invested in our border community. At Parque del Profesor, 25 years of environmental education and youth leadership programs have shaped two generations, fostering a deep respect for our natural ecosystem among children and families.

Our advocacy for the Tecate River has redefined the city’s relationship with this vital waterway through conferences, educational initiatives, citizen groups, and sustained cleanup efforts. Leading the way, Fundación La Puerta played a key role in the creation of a linear river park that now winds through the heart of Tecate.
