Why Strength Training Matters

Research consistently shows that strength training is one of the most effective ways to age well. Studies in journals such as The British Journal of Sports Medicine link regular resistance training to a 20–30% lower risk of all-cause mortality, as well as a lower risk of major non-communicable diseases such as heart disease, diabetes, and cancer.

• Longevity: Strength Training

Muscle is an essential organ of metabolic and endocrine health. This class teaches you how to perform a strength and conditioning routine that builds lean muscle, supports bone density, and extends your health span. Learn fundamental movement patterns to move stronger, with more coordination and confidence.

• Longevity: Dynamic Mobility

Move with purpose and feel your best. This class blends movement-based stretching, full-range functional patterns, and natural self-myofascial release, no equipment needed, to boost mobility, reduce stiffness, and keep your joints healthy. Through dynamic lunges, high knees, arm and hip circles, and three-dimensional movement, you’ll elevate strength, flexibility, balance, and overall body awareness. • Longevity: Cardio Zone 2 Training

Mitochondria, the powerhouse of the muscle cell, are essential for long-term health and energy. Steady-state aerobic training increases both their number and efficiency. This class uses the Talk Test (If you can talk comfortably, but not sing, while working out, this is Zone 2) to help you identify your personal Zone 2 intensity, allowing you to create safe, effective, and sustainable aerobic workouts to support your longevity.
