Body Barre Conditioning

These classes fuse Barre training, Ballet technique, Pilates exercises, and dynamic strength training. The combination of Barre, Ballet, and Pilates exercises designed to develop a strong, lean body.
This is a comprehensive and holistic approach to the body that can be used by anyone. Focus is placed on proper technique for better postural alignment, building muscle endurance and core power to improve balance, coordination and flexibility.
Exercises include warm-up, floor exercises, standing barre and center movement patterns. Equipment includes light weights, bands, gliders and Pilates balls. This full body conditioning is Ideal for all fitness levels designed to help you improve your strength, mobility and athletic fitness.
Joan Wenson is an internationally recognized fitness expert, award-winning athlete, and former classical ballet dancer. She has extensive experience in curriculum development and multimedia presentations for educational training programs. She has accumulated over 30 years of formal ballet, modern dance and fitness training, while also teaching for more than 30 years in the health and fitness industry.
