Ranch Reads: Winter Books Reading List

Reading list

Ahh, the crispness of winter and a good reading list.  Sometimes I just want to wrap myself in my Snuggie, settle down by the fire, and get lost in a good book. These nine books by Ranch guest presenters offer diverse styles and subjects to get anyone through the season.

[ezcol_1quarter]hinges[/ezcol_1quarter] [ezcol_3quarter_end]Grace Dane Mazur, author of Hinges, will be at The Ranch the week of December 31, 2016. What is it to be at the edge of the world of the imagination? How do writers, readers, and thinkers deal with this threshold? This book examines what happens when we come under the spell of writing, either as a writer or as a reader. Grace Dane Mazur uses the idea of hinges to explore what happens at real doorways as well as metaphysical turning points and transformations—in fiction, poetry, and in ordinary life.  Her next book, About Time, will be published in 2018.[/ezcol_3quarter_end]
