In March 2020, the Covid virus descended on New York City, emptying out the streets and filling up the emergency rooms. John Rosenmiller, Photographer, and Cady Chaplin, ICU Nurse, experienced first-hand the grim reality that defined the city. John photographed the empty and eerie streets for his documentary film, “City of Covid: New York During Quarantine” while Cady cared for Covid patients at the Lenox Hill intensive care unit and became the subject of a New Yorker article, “A City Nurse: Healing in the ICU During Covid-19.” Their dual presentation provides a rarely-seen insider view of New York during this historical epoch. https://www.newyorker.com/magazine/2020/05/04/a-city-nurse
