Brian Kapell was a founding member of ComedySportz in 1985, and continues to perform, direct and teach improvisational comedy with ‘ComedyShorts’ in Berlin, Germany, where he lives. He directed the musicals ‘The Lion King’, and ‘Shrek the Musical’ at the Berlin International School with 3rd- 5th graders. In the Fall, he’ll launch Stagecoach, (performing arts school for youth) franchise, as well as direct Alice in Wonderland, Jr. He has performed with all the ‘theaters of the deaf,’ and was on the production team for the Tony Award-nominated Broadway revival of Big River with Deaf West Theater and the Roundabout Theater.
