Leslie McGuirk is a professional astrologer with over 30 years of experience.  She is a frequent presenter at Rancho La Puerta and Red Mountain Spa. Her popular talk on astrology as human design (and not fortune telling) has been breaking attendance records for years.  She has been featured on Coast to Coast radio, The Jenny McCarthy show, Elle Magazine, Refinery 29, Runner’s World Magazine, and is a featured speaker at astrology conferences.  Her book THE POWER OF MERCURY, published by Harper Collins in 2016 is a fresh take on how Mercury shapes our essence from communication to relationships.

Leslie will instruct guests at La Cocina Que Canta about the evolution of Astrology, and its place in history.  Under the stars of the organic garden, she will explain how everything in Nature has a pattern, like a tree trunk or a snowflake, and we have a pattern as well – an astrology chart.  Many great thinkers, like Leonardo da Vinci, Sir Issac Newton and Hippocrates were devotees.  Leslie will also discuss the benefits of understanding the history of planting crops according to the phases of the moon, and how biodynamic farming works. Each guest will also gain insights into their own personal wiring systems, and will learn about the balance of the four elements in their chart, and how you can eat right for you elemental type.
