Welcome to the visionary world of Donna Sternberg & Dancers who bring dancers and scientists together in stunning performances fusing science with art.  Discover how immunology transforms into dances of beauty and sensitivity, how connections between dancers and audience are formed and how a sense of wonder permeates the program.

 

Donna Sternberg has professionally premiered over 90 works since 1975 throughout the United States, Europe, Canada and Mexico; frequently collaborating with scientists.  She was invited to participate in the 2016 Venice Biennale, choreographing a site-specific work in collaboration with LeeMundwiler architects and has been commissioned to create works for festivals, institutions and schools.  She was featured in the documentary LA Woman, has been published in the journal Leonardo (MIT Press) and her company, Donna Sternberg & Dancers, has been featured in print, on radio and on PBS station KCET.  She has participated in several prestigious artist residency programs, received awards and grants and taught throughout the United States.
