Hands-on Cooking Classes for Teens (13 to 17)
Katie Morford offers hands-on culinary experiences, 3.5 hours each, during which you will enjoy preparing your own dinner along with your fellow cooks. Classes take place at La Cocina Que Canta, our culinary center.
Tuesday Hands-On Cooking Class 4 to 7:30 pm Sign Up
Complimentary – 14 per class
Optional: Family can join for dinner: $45 for adults, no charge for children. 5:30 pm departure from Ranch. Space is limited to 6 people. Sign up with reservations.

Katie Sullivan Morford is a food writer and registered dietitian with a passion for bringing good food and good nutrition to the plate. She is the author of three cookbooks: PREP: The Essential College Cookbook, Rise & Shine: Better Breakfasts for Busy Mornings and Best Lunch Box Ever. Her books are inspired by her experience nourishing her own three kids and teaching them to be capable cooks. Katie has written and developed recipes for a number of publications, including Real Simple, Better Homes & Gardens, Family Circle, Parents, Self, the San Francisco Chronicle, and the New York Times. She is the voice behind the popular blog Mom’s Kitchen Handbook and Nutrition Editor for Simply Recipes. Katie has an undergraduate degree in English literature along with a Master’s Degree in Clinical Nutrition from New York University. She lives in San Francisco with her family.
