Inner Fitness Program

Week of December 19, 2020

Introduction – Is there something you’d love to do but haven’t found the courage?  Do you want to give yourself over to the fullest possible experience of living? 

Bigger, Better, Braver is a five-step journey to find the answers, beginning with listening to the quiet voice inside the head that tells you, you want more for your life. Living big is truly its own reward. The “bigger” is your definition and yours alone, a declaration to the Universe you are worthy and ready to take advantage of the great life you’ve been given.

Each of the five lessons offers you tools and a deeper understanding of who you are and what has been standing in your way.

Session 1
Why live Bigger?  We were all put on this earth to be all we can be. We enter this world ready to be anything and everything but little by little we shut parts of ourselves away, and as adults we continue to listen to the inner critic who no longer serves us. It is the voice that says: “play small to stay safe,” or “we aren’t good enough” or we need to “control everything to stay safe.”

We are meant to play all out and own all our qualities, the good and the bad, so we can be emotionally whole. I will help you uncover the disempowering belief that is keeping you from living the life of your dreams. You will form a new empowering belief to support you in living bigger, better and braver.

Session 2
Do you hear what I hear?  You will learn how to step out of autopilot and live in the present.  Think about how much of your life you spend in autopilot. Learn to recognize when you are there and acquire tools to keep you in the moment. Living in what I call Zombieland causes unhappiness and leads to more fear. Once you are present, you will learn how to receive messages from your intuition and the Universe to help you achieve a bigger, better, braver life. Learn to be the observer of your life and not the reactor.

Everything happens for a reason, and when you use your life as your own personal laboratory you will see why things are happening. You will learn that the Event plus your Reaction equals your Outcome. (Jack Canfield) Life happens for us and not to us.

Session 3
Excuses and ResistanceWe are all prone to resistance. It is a defense mechanism we use no matter how committed we think we are to growth and change. Resistance results in the internal conflict between parts of us that are locked in fear and parts that are courageous. Fear produces excuses. When you uncover your fear and recognize your excuses you move into acceptance of what is real for you, a bold new step into a bigger, better, braver life. In this session, you will move from resistance to acceptance and from victimhood to co-creator.

Session 4
Unconscious Commitments are the Saboteurs of our Dreams. You can stop wondering why your life doesn’t look like you want it to. The secret is that we get what we most commit to. In our childhood, we made promises to ourselves, which are buried in our subconscious. They were formed to keep us safe but as adults keep us small. So, when we aren’t getting what we think we want, we need to uncover the outdated early commitment in our subconscious that is ruling our operating system. In this session, you will uncover your disempowering commitment and replace it with a new empowering one that supports your leap to a bigger, better, braver life.

Session 5
What do you trust? Is it in you and the Universe or in your fears? If we step beyond our fear and outside our comfort zone—even with the tiniest of steps—we begin to grow into who we’re capable of being. Often, we’re capable of so much more than we realize! But since we haven’t been there before, we can’t yet imagine it.

Learn how to bring love to your fears. Open your heart to the afraid part of yourself. Love and nurture that part of you as you would a small child standing in front of you. The more compassion you have for your fears (and your inner child), the better you can calm them. You won’t rid yourself of your fears entirely, but you can cultivate them as driving forces for change and discover the courage you already have to take bold steps into the future.

As you learn to love and trust yourself and know you are capable of anything you want to do, and couple it with faith that the Universe has your back and everything happens as it should, you will be bigger, better, braver.

 

Nancy Pickard is a Certified Integrative Coach through The Ford Institute for Transformational Training. She is certified as a Breakthrough Shadow Coach, Empowered Parent Coach, Courage Coach, Healing Your Heart Coach, Leadership Coach, and Holistic Lifestyle Coach. She is the author of the upcoming book, Bigger Better BraverConquer your fears, Embrace your courage, Transform your life, which hits the stores in July 2020.

Prior to her work as a coach, she owned and operated a personal training gym called Tight Ends Inc.  She knows what it takes to help people achieve big goals. She holds multiple personal training certifications and has focused on health and wellness for almost 20 years. Her path towards coach was a natural evolution—she has a BS in Psychology and an MS in Education.

She lives by example. In 2017, she traveled alone in Thailand and Vietnam and undertook her biggest challenge, climbing Kilimanjaro at the age of 61. Coaching others to step out of fear and into bigger versions of themselves is her passion.
