Before attending graduate school, she wrote for Nutrition Action Healthletter at Center for Science in the Public Interest, a consumer food and health watchdog group based in Washington, DC. Jen received her masters in public health nutrition from the University of Washington, where she studied nutritional science, social determinants of health, and health communication.
