Steve Ross is a nationally recognized Grandmaster and expert in self-defense, martial arts education, and creative leadership, with over five decades of experience empowering individuals and building transformative programs. As Founder and President of the United State Tang Soo Do Association and Owner of the Orange County Academy of Martial Arts, Steve has led award-winning initiatives that promote safety, discipline, and personal development.

A Certified Tactical Defense Instructor and Co-Founder of International Women’s Self-Defense Day, Steve has spearheaded global empowerment efforts, training thousands of women in over 20 countries to protect themselves and break cycles of abuse. He also founded the Kid Kicks® program, designed to equip children with age-appropriate anti-bullying, self-defense tools and life skills for long-term success.

Beyond the martial arts world, Steve is also an accomplished figure in the film industry. As CEO of Dream Media Holdings, he is currently producing multiple feature films and is known for his award-winning work as a writer, producer, and actor. His contributions to action and martial arts cinema include performances in major motion pictures such as ‘Lionheart’ with Jean-Claude Van Damme and appearances in documentaries like ‘Martial Action’. His leadership in entertainment combines creative vision with a mission-driven approach to storytelling.
