TV Comedy: How A Hit Show is Created

Shelly Aronson is a Manager of Writers for Television who most recently was instrumental in developing The Neighborhood, the #1 new comedy on CBS now in its second season. Her writers have worked on shows including The Big Bang Theory, It’s Sunny in Philadelphia, Last Man Standing, Madam Secretary and Queen of the South to name a few. As a former comedy development executive at three studios including HBO, 20th TV and Warner Bros, she has worked on numerous hit sitcoms including Everybody Loves Raymond. Her talk will be a behind the scenes look at how network comedies are created, bought and get on the air.
