Yoga Therapy with Stacey Filice
Week of April 16, 2022
Each session will be appropriate for all levels. Throughout the week, we will work on:
- Rotator cuff, arm and wrist issues
- Shoulder and neck pain (often accompanied by headaches)
- Nervous System – Stress and Pain management
- Memory and Habit
- Back and hips
- Knees, ankles and feet
Each session may incorporate pranayama (breathing techniques), meditation and will conclude with Yoga Nidra (yogic sleep) or deep relaxation during which true healing occurs.
Stacey A. Filice, Certified Yoga Therapist, E-RYT500, Reiki Master, has a Bachelors degree in Psychology and worked for many years in the pharmaceutical industry. In 2011 Stacey had a life-changing week at Rancho La Puerta that inspired her to leave her corporate job and focus her life on the study of health and wellness through the practice of ancient healing in a modern context. She became a yoga teacher in 2012, and through her many years of teaching, serving clients, and 1,000+ hours of additional study, Stacey attained the status of Yoga Therapist. Her years of teaching include many studios throughout San Diego, full-time staff instruction at Rancho La Puerta in Tecate, BC, Mexico, online, and working with students therapeutically one-on-one. Stacey teaches various styles of yoga; her passion is using ancient practices to help people therapeutically so that they may find true, deep healing. Through Satkara Ancient Healing, Stacey incorporates yoga asana (poses), yoga philosophy, pranayama (breathing techniques), meditation, sound healing, Yoga Nidra, and Reiki to guide clients on their healing journey.
