Cucumber & Lavender Cooler

Here’s a refreshing and elegant mocktail recipe from Christa Cotton that combines cucumber’s crisp, cool taste with subtle floral notes of lavender and a hint of sweetness from honey. Perfect for a gathering with friends, this drink is as beautiful as it is delicious. The creative touch of skewered cucumber peel “flowers” adds a whimsical flair to this sophisticated mocktail. Cheers to a refreshing drink and a feast for the eyes!

Makes one cocktail
• English Cucumber
• .25 oz Fresh Lime Juice
• 1 Tbsp El Guapo® Tonic Syrup (or other Tonic Syrup – NOT Tonic Water)
• Club Soda
• 4 dashes El Guapo® Cucumber Lavender Bitters (or other cucumber bitters)
• Honey, dried lavender & skewered Cucumber peel “flowers”, for garnish

Paint a wide stripe of honey on the exterior of a clean stemless wine glass or lowball with a paintbrush or kitchen-basing brush.

Gently roll or dredge glass through a plate of dried lavender until well covered and set glass aside.

Combine 2-3 slices of Cucumber with lime juice in a clean, empty cocktail shaker. Muddle well, add tonic syrup, and fill with ice.

Shake until well chilled & strain into a lowball or stemless wine glass. Add club soda and garnish with skewered cucumber peel “flowers” before serving.
