About Your Day

Valle de Guadalupe is the pride of Mexican wine production and is responsible for 90% of the country’s wine production. This globally recognized destination has experienced remarkable growth over the last decade, boasting a vibrant community of boutique wineries and exquisite dining establishments that exude rustic charm and sophistication.

Pijoan Vineyard, the first stop, was a dream founded in 2002 by Pau Pijoan, a veterinary researcher who became a pioneer in the emerging Mexican wine scene. Vinos Pijoan’s philosophy aims to create honest wines that reflect the region’s arid climate and morning fog, incorporating the land’s history into each bottle.

The second stop and lunch destination, Adobe Guadalupe, is a sanctuary in the heart of the valley. Tru Miller’s vision has made it a true benchmark for quality in the region, and with winemaker Daniel Lonnberg at the helm for over 15 years, Adobe continues to shine in the Mexican premium wine scene.

Pijoan Vineyard

Pijoan Vineyard, the first stop, was established in 2002 by Pau Pijoan, a veterinary researcher who played a key role in the emerging Mexican wine scene. Vinos Pijoan’s philosophy is centered around producing authentic wines that capture the essence of the region’s arid climate and morning fog while also celebrating the land’s rich history. This small winery has limited production and is run by the Pijoan family.

The main attraction here is the Mistela Botanical Garden, which showcases native plants that nurture the land and contribute to the unique flavors of the vermouth and natural wines. Guests have the opportunity to touch, smell, and taste these plants in the vermouth and the natural organic wines.

Adobe Guadalupe

The second stop and lunch destination is Adobe Guadalupe, a sanctuary located in the heart of the valley. Tru Miller’s vision has made it a true benchmark for quality in the region. With winemaker Daniel Lonnberg at the helm for over 15 years, Adobe continues to shine in the Mexican premium wine scene.

The main attraction here is lunch in a beautiful dining hall with Tru and the opportunity to learn about the history of the hacienda (winery).
