When you come to Rancho La Puerta, your to-do list should read: relax, enjoy, repeat. Leave the rest to us, including transportation between the Tecate border and the San Diego Airport (now offered on Saturdays and Wednesdays*), cooking every scrumptious meal of the day, doing all the dishes, cleaning and replenishing your casita, and making and turning down your bed daily. Leave the planning and chores to us and open yourself to complete bliss in your extra time.

In addition, discover ample places to relax in any way you can imagine, fitness classes and workshops to energize your body and enrich your mind, landscaped grounds, and trails that are maintained daily to ensure you have clear paths to walk and beauty to enjoy with every step. All you have to do is decide what to do first (even if it’s nothing at all).

All 3-, 4- and 7-night stays from June 29 to October 9, 2024 include Saturday and Wednesday transportation to and from the San Diego Airport.*

*Wednesday transportation to the San Diego Airport is provided this summer only, from June 29 to October 9, 2024. Pick-up at the San Diego Airport is available on Wednesdays at 9:30am and 1pm. Wednesday Ranch departures to the San Diego Airport are available at 7:30am and 11am.

Follow your own singular star. At Rancho La Puerta, the day is yours. After hiking, yoga, or kickboxing, a hot stone massage is just the balm. Farm-to-table meals are served under convivial skies. Pleasure and well-being walk side by side up the mountain.

Program Includes:

  • Guided hikes on 40 miles of mountain trails.
  • More than 40 daily fitness classes, including Pilates, Barre, TRX, circuit training, Hydro-Fit, yoga and Zumba.
  • Three daily farm-to-table meals, sourced from our organic garden and other local farms. Cuisine is lacto-ovo pescatarian and includes dairy, eggs and seafood but no meats or poultry. Delicious vegan and gluten-free options are available.
  • Eleven gyms, four pools, a running track, as well as tennis, pickleball, basketball, and volleyball courts.
  • Three full-service spas offering massage, facials, wraps, scrubs and other holistic therapies.
  • Meditation, Feldenkrais, sound healing and other mind-body activities.
  • Painting, sculpting, jewelry making and various art classes.
  • Presentations on culture, history, health, science, and psychology.
  • Nature activities include bird walks, garden tours and farm hikes.
  • Live concerts, talks by special guests and other evening entertainment.
  • 3-, 4- and 7-night stay options.

Roundtrip Saturday transportation between our beautiful property in Tecate, Baja California, Mexico, and the San Diego Airport, is included in all 7-night stays (Saturday-Saturday). From June 29 to September 6, 2024, Wednesday transportation to and from the San Diego Airport is also available for short stays. Other restrictions apply.
