Hands on Cooking Classes with Rochelle Palermo

Rochelle Palermo offers hands-on culinary experiences, 3.5 hours each, during which you will enjoy preparing your own meal along with fellow cooks. Classes take place at La Cocina Que Canta, our culinary center on Tuesday and Wednesday, at 4pm. In addition, Chef Rochelle will collaborate with La Cocina Que Canta’s Head Chef Vivian Mercado and her team to create a special feast (with wine pairing!) on Thursday at 4:45pm.

Thursday Farm-to-Table Dining Experience 4:45 PM
Celebrate the abundance of our organic farm and the connection to community with a Farm-to-Table dining experience – a perfect blend of health, tradition, flavor, and fun! Cost is $150 per person, tax and wine pairing included. Rochelle Palermo is a celebrated Los Angeles-based culinary expert, cookbook author, entrepreneur, and passionate advocate for sustainable, plant-based cuisine. With a Bachelor of Arts in History from UCLA and a Certificate in Culinary Arts from the Los Angeles Culinary Institute—where she trained under a Certified Master Chef—Rochelle has built an impressive career in food media and innovation. She served as Assistant Food Editor at Bon Appétit and contributed recipes to Food Network, Food & Wine, Epicurious, Rachael Ray Every Day, Vegetarian Times, and Natural Health.

As Vice President of Culinary Operations for Chef Curtis Stone, she led an international team across the U.S., Canada, and Australia, co-authoring One Pot Wonders and The Ultimate Multi Cooker Cookbook while authoring her own The Bakeware Cookbook (2017). Rochelle gained national visibility as on-air talent for Good Housekeeping on QVC and Curtis Stone on HSN.

In 2015, she founded Super Natural Almond Cheese, widely regarded as California’s freshest vegan almond cheese. Crafted artisanally with quintessential California produce and ingredients in a 100% organic, GMO-free process, the premium brand is known for its eco-conscious practices and sustainability.

Rochelle makes her debut as a guest chef at La Cocina que Canta, the acclaimed culinary center at Rancho La Puerta, bringing her vibrant plant-based expertise and sustainable approach to inspire wellness-focused guests in the ranch’s beautiful kitchen.
