We’re excited to share eight books from guest presenters that will help you prepare for tonight’s meal or tomorrow’s life-changing decisions. Some of these are available at the Szekely Library when you visit. Or, you can purchase these gems at your favorite local bookshop. All are entertaining and enlightening.

In this great collection of recipes, Isabel Cruz shows us that Latin food doesn’t need to be complicated and can be healthy. These recipes are influenced by her family’s meals and what she creates at her popular restaurants. She gives a fun Asian twist to the recipes and a guide for stocking your pantry is included. Isabel taught at The Ranch the week of August 11 – 17. ¡Buen Provecho!

Joan Nathan researched the Jewish diaspora from kitchens to dining tables as she traveled the globe exploring and documenting Jewish cooking. She opens a pantry full of history, spices, and cultural influences that make their way into the roughly 170 masterfully crafted and shared recipes. This is Joan’s 11th cookbook, and she will teach at La Cocina Que Canta December 22 – 28, 2018.
