The Ranch’s Signature Green Juice Recipe

The Ranch’s delicious and refreshing Signature Green Juice recipe is a wonderful drink for spring.

Ingredients:

 

 ½ head romaine or leaf lettuce

1 medium green apple

1 leaf kale

1 small bok choy

4 inner leaves of beet greens

1 stalk of celery

2 sprigs parsley

½ cucumbers

½ lemon with peel

Makes 12 ounces

*Note; a juicer is needed for this recipe.

Tips for juicing:

These are a few vegetables we think are key to include on a regular basis for health benefits.  Always remember to pick things that are in season. This is when the vegetables are at their prime and the cost is the lowest.

Cruciferous Vegetables:

Brussels sprouts, bok choy, cabbage, broccoli, cauliflower …

Greens

kale, spinach, collard greens, chard, celery, young radish greens,  and a variety of lettuces …

Herbs/ Spices
