La Cocina Que Canta (“the kitchen that sings”) is home to the guest-favorite breakfast hike, guided tours of Tres Estrellas, our nourishing 6-acre organic farm, the new Divino Cacao class, hands-on cooking classes with visiting renowned chefs, and now, extraordinary Chef’s Table dinners every Thursday night with wine and mocktail pairings!

Hands-On Cooking Classes

La Cocina regularly hosts internationally renowned guest chefs such as Chef AJ (author, speaker, host of Healthy Living), Edgar Castrejon (plant-based chef, food content creator, cookbook author), Carlos Gaytan (first Mexican-born chef to earn a Michelin Star), Valerie Gordon (chocolatier, chef, entreprenuer), and many more.

Divino Cacao Class

A captivating journey into the rich heritage of Mexican chocolate. From the ancient traditions of the Aztecs and Maya to the contemporary chocolate renaissance, you will discover the unique flavors and traditions that define Mexican chocolate. Guided by Executive Chef Reyna Venegas, you will engage in a hands-on experience, from roasting cacao beans to crafting exquisite “chocolate de mesa” and more!

Chef's Table Dinners

Celebrate the abundance of our organic farm and the connection to community with a Farm-to-Table dining experience. Join our visiting chef each week and Executive Chef Reyna Venegas and her team at La Cocina Que Canta for a meal to savor in your tastebuds, soul, and mind. It's a perfect blend of health, tradition, flavor, and fun! Cost is $150 per person, tax and wine (or mocktail!) pairing are included.

Organic Breakfast Hike

Breakfast tastes better when you walk to it! Enjoy a 4-mile round trip trek over rolling hills to La Cocina Que Canta, our culinary center and Tres Estrellas, our organic farm. Enjoy a hearty and delicious breakfast in the garden, followed by a farm tour with our resident horticulturist. If you don’t wish to walk, transportation to La Cocina Que Canta is offered one day during the week and may be arranged through the concierge. If you are too full for the return trip to The Ranch, transportation is provided from La Cocina every day the hike is offered. (Back by 9 a.m.) Moderate Hike
