Discover the five pillars of the Mindful Hand of Self-Care that support you caring for the parts of you that feel overwhelmed, lonely or exhausted so you can return to a place of peace, connection and inner steadiness no matter what life throws your way. With consistent awareness, self-care becomes a way of being that supports you in feeling more resourced and resilient.
Lesson 1: Gain Awareness of Your Thoughts
We will bring mindful attention and care to our thoughts and emotions, exploring the beliefs that lay the foundation for our relationship with ourselves. When you build awareness around your thoughts, you can learn to enhance your self-talk and care for your emotions instead of getting trapped in anxiety and fear.
Lesson 2: Fuel Your Body
We bring our attention to the body and specifically focus on how you fuel and nourish your body. Through various mindful eating practices and self-discovery inquiries, you will learn how to deeply connect with and honor the cues and needs of your body, which is an essential act of self-care.
Lesson 3: Move with Your Body
We continue to explore our relationship with the body and how we move, use and be in our bodies that enhance our well-being. Movement is typically the first thing that gets ditched in our
busy lifestyles. However, movement is a key ingredient to living a life of vitality. Build a deeper connection to your body so that the body can lead more and the mind can slow down.
Lesson 4: Connect with Your Space
We will bring awareness to the space you surround yourself with–including people, places and things. By bringing mindful attention to the energy surrounding you, you can be more conscious about what you want to invite into your space and what deserves a boundary to care for your well-being.
Lesson 5: Rest & Restore Your Energy
We will explore the themes of renewal and rest, which are foundational to caring for yourself and having the energy to do what matters most to you. Especially in our modern times, we must remember our innate value as human beings, not human doings.
